A Steal on Southwestern Placemats

These “Navajo Stripe” placemats and napkins were on clearance at Crate and Barrel for $.95 (instead of $4.95) and $.50 (instead of $3.95) respectively. What a deal. I usually think table linens are some of the most overpriced housewares, so I hardly ever buy new stuff. These give the table a nice kick of warm color that reminds me of home in New Mexico. And they look great with silver and Nambe!
Wow! These recipes look great! I am defineately going to try the engagement chicken, beef with potatoes and coconut blueberry muffins! Would you send me some of those muffins for my birthday cake? Love, Mom
